Valentine's Day Tradition...

Our friends, the Shiver's, invited us to join them and many other friends last year for Valentine's Day at Lucy's in Celina. It's a tradition they started many years ago and we are excited to make it our tradition as well! This was our second year to join them...more and more couples join us each year!

Lucy's is a very casual, small town kind of place to dine...but every Valentine's Day they have a special dinner where they pull out the white table cloths...dimm the lights...and everyone gets dressed up for an amazing meal with their sweetheart!

Funny story...we're each sharing our engagement stories and as we're talking...the guy in the booth next to us gets down on one knee and proposes to the girl he's with...NO JOKE! We couldn't believe it! Everyone in Lucy's celebrated with them as she said YES! I guess they can start a new tradition at Lucy's too!

Yep...we did what we said we'd never do. We are a whole month behind in blog world! Actually a month from today...just realized...so sad! We'll try to quickly recap what's been going on!

Friends move to AR

Our friends for many years, Nick & Meredith Floyd and their precious baby girl Reese, moved to AR this week to continue their ministry as they serve at FBC Springdale & The Church at Pinnacle Hills where Nick's dad, Ronnie Floyd is Senior Pastor.

We miss you already! Hope to visit soon!

I think this was the biggest game of catch phrase we've ever played!

After fun games and an awesome prayer time...we brought in the New Year with J-Wood and Justin playing guitar and singing...some fun oldies and then some worship songs. Each year gets better and better! So thankful to have such fun and sweet friends.

But boy was she excited when it was finally her turn again!!
We gave Laney a HSM jewelry box...her response when she opened it..."Whoa..you're not gonna believe this!!" She couldn't wait to find all of her jewelry to fill it up!

Celina State Game

Celina Bobcats played for the State Championship at TX Stadium on Dec 19th.
This was the last HS football game to be played at TX Stadium

The Bobcats did not take home the State Trophy...but played a great game!
