The ceremony was very special. The Korean Pastor was from California and was James' Pastor when he lived there before moving to Dallas. There were parts of the wedding spoken in his Korean language for James' family. They incorporated Korean and American traditions to make the ceremony very unique.
Carter and Julie at the reception which was held at the Adolphus Hotel Grand Ballroom. Words can't describe how beautiful this ballroom was! The food, cake, band, and decor was fabulous! Julie's mom took this pic...she thinks it looks like a prom pic! ha!
Carter posing with Julie's Mom & Dad!
Holli is about to throw her bouquet!! She is at the left...in her pink & yellow Korean gown. James' family had this dress made for her...it is the tradition that the Korean bride wears this gown for the wedding...so Holli wore hers to the reception.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in... Revelation 3:20
On this day, 7 years ago, I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ! He radically transformed my life when I surrendered everything to Him and asked Him to save me from myself, my sin, and my desires for this world.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
I grew up thinking I was a Christian and that if I was a good person I would go to heaven. At 22 years old, I realized I was in need of a savior and being a “good” person was not my ticket into heaven. God started changing my heart and calling me to Him through the teaching of Pastor Graham and others at Prestonwood, the church I started visiting 11 years ago! At a young singles Bible Study called Metro, on May 20, 2002…God spoke to me through the teacher Stuart Hall, and I prayed and asked Jesus to forgive me and change me…and he has done just that and so much MORE! The Lord is faithful!
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9,10
Lord, thank you for saving me! This day will forever be special to me as you gave me a new life and have shown me love that I had never known before. My desire is for all who do not know you personally to have an encounter with you like this. I will never be the same and am forever grateful. In Awe…Your Beloved…Julie
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Not only did Carter and baby give me some sweet gifts, but Carter also slaved away all weekend in the yard. We have been wanting to outline our flower beds with stone, well...a few days ago...we were able to get truck loads of the stone that is on our house for FREE! So Carter got busy on this project...and he did an amazing job!
I feel so spoiled...thank you Carter for making my first Mother's Day so special...I will never forget it. I can't wait to celebrate Father's Day for you! You are going to be the best daddy ever!
