Wonderful Cross!
This morning after church, our church family went to the site of our future church building in Prosper and watched as they raised the cross on the building! It was such an exciting day as our Pastor, Jack Graham and North Campus Pastor, Marc Rylander prayed over our church family and this building that will be used to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ!

Weekend Getaway! 4/30-5/3
This past week we went on a much needed vacation with our friends Drew & Carolyn!
We went to a lake house in Mt. Vernon that our friends so graciously let us use!
It is the perfect spot for relaxing, reading, and reflecting on how AMAZING God is!

Celebration & Prayer Request...
Today we celebrated Grandma Wortham's (Julie's Dad's Mom) 80th Birthday which is actually Tuesday this week. The whole family got together for a potluck dinner at the clubhouse where we live! We had a great time with our family and Grandma really enjoyed herself!
Grandma Appleman (Julie's Mom's Mom) also celebrates her birthday this Tuesday! Please lift up Julie's family in prayer as we found out today after all the celebrating that Grandma Appleman has Leukemia. Her health has been declining and the doctors have not been able to determine what it was until the most recent bone marrow test and it confirmed that she has Leukemia. Grandma lives in Houston in an apartment by herself and will soon move into an assisted living home. We will keep you posted and would greatly appreciate your prayers.

Good Times!
This past weekend, we attended Josh Graham & Kaytie McCoy's wedding at the Prestonwood Chapel! It was a very sweet ceremony and ended with a very beautiful and fun reception at the Park City Club in Dallas.
Our sweet friends Carolyn & Drew Herndon!
They are expecting a precious baby boy in August, please keep little Rhodes Andrew Herndon and the Herndon family in your prayers.
The Edmonson's, David the dad, & Luke the son are sweet friends of ours. They were also our photographers for our wedding. It was fun catching up with them! We caught Luke taking a little break!
We rode to the reception with our friends Debbie & Jarrett Stephens. Debbie and I were checking out the party favors! They were popcorn balls in little bags and the tag said "Hope you had a ball at our wedding!" So cute!! And the coolest part was our pink popcorn ball actually tasted like cotton candy! YUM-MO!!

Fun Stuff!
Julie's niece, Keely donated 10 inches of her beautiful hair to Locks of Love this weekend!
How cute is she!!! Keely is 5 years old, and will turn 6 next month!
Freedom weekend "Alive" was Feb. 7-10th!
This is our church's "d-now" weekend with our students. It was the second year for the North campus to participate. This was Julie and her co-leader, Shae's group of 8th grade girls for the weekend! They had a blast and were challanged to walk as Jesus walked. We studied the book of 1 John and it is evident that God is moving through our students through this study!
