NICU - Day 12

Sunday, May 15th

Kyndall had a busy day today! She was moved from her "H" Hippo pod to the "D" Duck pod!

I didn't know that she could/would be moved! They needed to shift some babies around and one nurse in "D" had 2 babies and could take on a 3rd, and because Kyndall has been stable they picked her to move! At least that's how the nurses explained it to us! ;) 

In the NICU, there are pods "A" thru "H" and there is not a "good" or "bad" pod to be in. But it is possible that she could move again if they needed to. 

Her new neighbor was pretty rowdy, so I hope he'll calm down and let her get some rest!

She gained weight again today! Yippee! She weighs 3lbs, 11.3oz. Her feedings have gone up to .36 cc's and she is ready to start trying a bottle and/or nursing 2x / day.
