NICU - Day 22

I'm SO excited...I wish I could be telling you this update face to face and you could hear and see the joy pouring out of my heart with our latest news on little miss Kyndall! 

After talking to the nurses today...it looks very VERY likely that our baby girl will be coming home sooner than we had ever dreamed! I posted yesterday that she may be home in a couple of weeks...well, it could be DAYS now! Oh my goodness...saying it gets me so excited! ;)

I kept thinking in the back of my mind that it sure would be a sweet gift for my birthday (June 2) if we could bring our baby home...and that just might happen! Talk about a celebration!!!

I'm so very thankful to my loving God for hearing our prayers when we were on our knees, giving us peace when we couldn't make sense of what was happening, healing our hearts when they were broken, giving us strength when we were at our weakest moments, and continuing to hold our hands each step we take through this journey...He is faithful and I will praise His great name!

Today Kyndall weighs 4 lbs, 5.3 oz! Her bottle/nurse feedings have increased to 5-6 out of her 8 feedings! This is huge!! By tomorrow or Friday, the feeding tube will most likely be taken out! Woo Hoo!

NICU nurses: "Who's ready to go home!?" Kyndall: "Me, me...I want to go home!" lol

Look at this face! Oh my goodness...I want to eat her up! 

 Our baby girl has a big day ahead! Her hearing test is scheduled for tomorrow, which is a very big deal! She is getting signed up for all the "check-out" procedures! Please pray that her tests go well and she continues to improve so we can get this cutie pie in our arms 24/7!
