NICU - Day 14

Tuesday, May 17th (2wks)

We have a "rock star" on our hands! Yep, that's right! Kyndall's nickname in the NICU went from "pistol" to "rock star"! We are so proud! She is improving so well each day! We have our loving, healing Savior to thank for that and our precious friends and family that have lifted her and our family in prayer! Gives me chills just thinking about how far she has come in such a short amount of time!

Check out her new bed! Such a big girl! ;) She was moved out of her Isolette last night because she has proven to be able to keep her body temperature at 97.7 or higher without any help.

Today she weighs 3 lbs, 15 oz! She was given another bottle by Mommy and took the whole amount! New orders today were that her feedings would increase to .38 cc's and she can nurse/bottle feed 2-3x/day!

One other change today...Kyndall has some new "fancy pants"! I won't even try to explain what they look like or what they do...because it would embarrass her! ;) But she has some issues going on with her tiny hiney and so her "fancy pants" should fix that soon!

Mommy spent a looooong time at the hospital today and couldn't help but think over and over how thankful I am for the nurses and doctors and staff at Presby Plano. They are absolutely amazing! We can't wait for our baby Kyndall to come home with us, but for now she is in the best care possible and we are forever grateful for the love and care they give her.

Oh yeah! I forgot to also mention that Mommy had her 2wk check-up today and Lily had her 18mo well check-up yesterday and both got great reports!
