NICU - Day 17

We had a great visit with Miss Kyndall today!
She gave Mommy several big smiles while she was eating and snuggling!

We had a weight gain today! Praise the Lord! She weighs 3lbs, 15.8oz

Kyndall is doing great at taking the bottle and nursing, so she decided she would take out her feeding tube all by herself today! She was not happy when her nurse put the tube back in...it made Mommy squirm too! Poor baby!

Her tiny hiney is still pretty soar, so we're hoping we find a solution for this soon. Not sure if her "fancy pants" are helping or not...so they are ordering a new prescription ointment to see if it helps.

Finally captured a yawn! I kept missing them, and I think I got a pretty good one today! ;)

She is still in the Isolette for another day or so to keep her body temperature regulated

I cannot imagine how we would get through this unexpected circumstance without our faith, and our precious prayer warriors. The past few weeks has drawn us nearer to the Lord and we are so grateful for how He has strengthened our marriage, given us a deeper love than we could have ever imagined for our family, and given us an unshakable faith through this journey. We would have never asked for this to be part of our testimony...but we will give Him all the glory and tell all who will listen about this miracle and how He is faithful to those who know and love Him!

Today, Julie is celebrating her 9yr spiritual birthday!
Our God is an AWESOME God!
